Jeff Sposito

Mr. Sposito has over 30 years of experience in real estate management and ownership.  As the President and Founder of J. Rockcliff Realtors (named after his late mother), Mr. Sposito personifies J. Rockcliff’s company vision. He has risen through the ranks of the real estate industry and is dedicated to best serving the needs of the client by hiring the best agents and providing the tools needed to succeed. He began his career as a top producing agent and quickly escalated into prominent management and ownership positions with top real estate companies. Over the more than three decade span of his career, Sposito has won numerous awards for productivity, leadership and business savvy., including Realtor of the Year, Outstanding Leadership Award and was recognized by the California Association of Realtors as having the best real estate exchange in the state of California.

Reinforcing his leadership role within the real estate industry, Mr. Sposito is currently a Director for the California Association of Realtors and he also serves as a Director of the National Association of Realtors. Additionally, he was President of the Bay East Association of Realtors in 1985 and President of the Contra Costa Association of Realtors in 2001, the only individual to have ever held both these prestigious titles. Most recently, he has been named as an honorary Director for Life by the California Association of Realtors (C.A.R.).

Mr. Sposito has spoken in front of the Federal Reserve Board regarding key issues within the real estate industry and has been the key note speaker at myriad industry seminars and conventions.   Dedicated to continuing education and with a keen eye for the needs of J. Rockcliff clients and agents, he has also earned numerous industry designations including CRB (Certified Residential Broker), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), GRI (Graduate Realtors Institute) and Eco-Broker.

Mr. Sposito makes his home in Danville with his wife Teresa. They have four grandchildren and two grown sons; Shane, a pilot in the United States Army, and Jeffrey who lives with his family in Montana.

Robin Dickson
Executive Vice President, Manager

Robin Dickson has been in the real estate industry since the mid 1980’s. After completing a decade as a corporate officer for a nationwide bank, Robin made a career change to real estate.Relying on her background in finance and her intimate knowledge of the East Bay, Robin’s professional opinion was highly regarded by her clients and resulted in ranking consistently among the top 1% of agents nationwide for sales volume.

Beginning as a Sales Manager for the Danville and Blackhawk offices of Alain Pinel Realtors, Robin later took on the management of the Pleasanton office of that firm. In 2003, she put her detail-oriented skills to work helping to start Intero Real Estate Services in the East Bay.

In 2007 when the opportunity arose to purchase the 5 East Bay offices of Intero, Robin became the Executive Vice President of J. Rockcliff Realtors where she is responsible for overseeing all marketing, advertising, training, staff and other day-to-day operations in addition to managing the Pleasanton office.

Robin serves on the Contra Costa Association of Realtors Board of Directors and was it’s 2013 President. She is also a Director for the California Association of Realtors and is currently Vice Chair of the Legal Affairs Forum. Robin holds both CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) and GRI (Graduate Realtors Institute) designations. In addition to theses activities, Robin sits on the Steering Committee for Transaction Point Transaction Management and previously taught Real Estate Management.

Believing in the value of home ownership, Robin is a California “President’s Circle” and “Golden R” member of the National Association of Realtor’s Realtor Action Fund.

Originally from Texas, Robin has been in the East Bay since she was ten years old! She has three grown sons with her husband Dave and is crazy about her loveable Golden Retrievers, Cooper and Jax!

Vance Smith
Vice President, Manager

Vance Smith spent his early years growing up in Harrisburg, PA before attending West Virginia University, where he earned his degree in Business Administration. Upon graduating from West Virginia University in 1968, Vance entered the U. S. Army as a lieutenant. After a two year tour, including a year in Vietnam, Vance entered the corporate world.

After a 2 year tour, including a year in Vietnam, Vance entered the corporate world in sales at Carlisle Tire and Rubber Company where he was transfer to the Bay area as sales manager for the North Western Division. Spending several years in sales management for Carlisle Corporation her moved to another management position at Johnson & Johnson in medical sales.

Vance’s real estate career began in 1979, earning numerous sales awards including “Top Sales Agent of the Year”. Active in the real estate sales and management for over 30 years, he is currently Vice President and Sales Manager for the Blackhawk real estate offices of J. Rockcliff Realtors. He finds it very rewarding to work with such an outstanding group of agents and help them grow and prosper.

Vance has lived in the East Bay for over 30 years and currently resides in Blackhawk with his wonderful wife, Sue. They have two grown children, Erica and Adam, and a very precious grandchild who lives nearby. When Vance is not spending time with family and friends, he enjoys golfing, gardening and working-out. He is a member of Blackhawk Country Club, Diablo Valley Vietnam Vets and the Danville VFW. Vance says, “Real estate is my passion! Many past clients have become my good friends! It is a pleasure to be able to work and play in the wonderful town of Danville."

Helene Freeman
Vice President, Manager

Ms. Freeman has accomplished a lifetime of achievements in her 28 years as a real estate professional. As a 37-year resident of Contra Costa County, Ms. Freeman’s knowledge of her marketplace and the surrounding communities is unsurpassed.

With a long list of awards and recognitions in real estate sales, she has distinguished herself in the Bay Area and nationwide as a professional with the focused energy to get results. As a manager, Ms. Freeman leads by example and bases her management philosophy on J. Rockcliff Realtors principles of "Integrity, Compassion, Loyalty, Commitment, and Professionalism." She is a mentor to agents, listens and assists in decision-making, and has a primary emphasis on channeling the energy of the office in a positive manner. The result has been an accomplished group of agents responsible for a consistently successful office. Ms. Freeman’s achievements come from hard work that translates into results for those with whom she works with.

Ms. Freeman is actively involved in her community and is a member of the National Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors, Contra Costa Association of Realtors, and Bay East Association of Realtors.

Marques Buck
Vice President, Manager

With a combination of over 15 years in Residential Real Estate, Title & Escrow, and Mortgage Lending, Marques Buck has a firm understanding for all aspects of real estate, and emphasizes the importance of planning for overall financial future. The real estate industry is always changing, along with effective techniques to market and expose properties on the internet & social media, with an international reach. His focus is on communication, first class service, and a commitment to excellence.
Marques was honored to become a selling manager in 2014, and absolutely loves the training and teamwork aspect in helping his fellow agents succeed. It a privilege to work with some of the most respected and successful Realtors in the business. Marques became Vice Present and Manager of the J. Rockcliff Realtors Lafayette office in 2017.
Homegrown in the East Bay, Marques currently lives in the San Ramon Valley with his wife and five children, where he also actively plays and coaches competitive soccer, baseball, and softball.

Earl Rozran
Vice President, Manager

Earl has been a top producing Realtor since 2004. Beginning in 2008, he served as the Branch Manager for the Pleasanton office of Better Homes and Gardens Tri-Valley Realty. In 2013, he led his office to be the #1 office out of 33 Northern California/Northern Nevada BHG offices.

In February of 2016, Earl accepted the role of Sales Manager, East Bay, for all six of J. Rockcliff Realtors offices. In June of 2016, Earl was appointed as VP, Branch Manager, for the Pleasanton office of J. Rockcliff Realtors. Earl is an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®), a Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource (SFR), and a Certified Relocation Specialist.

Prior to his real estate career, Earl spent over twenty years as an executive within the medical device marketplace. While at American Hospital Supply/Baxter Healthcare, he served as Marketing & Operations Manager, International Sales Training Manager, and Director of National Account Sales. Earl also served as the Director of Marketing for Nellcor / Tyco Healthcare. Finally, he served as Director of Marketing for AeroGen and Vice President of Business Development for Oridion Medical where he helped take both companies through their IPO’s. Earl is a graduate of the California State University at Long Beach.


Sam Kraemer
In-House Legal Counsel

With over 20 years in real estate and nearly 30 in real estate and corporate law, Sam draws on an incisive understanding of complex legal issues in helping our agents and their clients manage risk during complicated transactions. His knowledge, experience and leadership skills give our J. Rockcliff offices an exceptional foundation for success. In his spare time, Sam is an aficionado of UCLA Basketball, Central Coast Pinot Noir and road biking.


Nancy Guarascio
Director, Marketing

Nancy has been in creative services and marketing for over 30 years.  She has developed branding campaigns and product development for Crystal Geyser, Tejava, Alpine Spring Water, Caffino Espresso Drive Throughs, Con Cannon Winery, Christian Brothers, Oracle, Crown Zellerbach, Collgate Palmolive to name a few.

In 2007 Nancy joined J. Rockcliff Realtors as the Director of Marketing and helped to launch the Rockcliff brand and was responsible for developing the marketing and recruiting campaigns.

Nancy joined Bay East Association of REALTORS® in 2010 as the Director of Marketing and Communications to build the video and creative department at Bay East and launch a new branding campaign. She was responsible for the production of all BE videos, training videos, social media, web development and design, and all marketing collateral for the association. Her team has created videos for NAR, C.A.R. and other regional associations. Nancy’s time working within an association gave her an in-depth understanding of mls services at the local, state and national level.

Nancy is back home with J. Rockcliff bringing her mls knowledge and video expertise to the Rockcliff family. She leads the marketing efforts in corporate branding, launching new social media programs, building Rockcliff video capabilities and website development.

In her spare time she breeds and shows AKC champion Hungarian Vizslas.  An avid SCUBA diver, instructor and past chairman of the national Association of Underwater Instructors, Nancy was recently inducted into the Women in Diving Hall of Fame.     

Irene Baldwin
Risk Analysis Manager

Upon graduating from college, Irene went directly to work at the University of California Berkeley campus in an administrative position at the computer center. Later in her career she worked in the private sector in Human Resources for several years.

Taking five years off to have her two children, it became very apparent to Irene that she needed to do something more to keep her mind stimulated. That is when Irene decided to get her real estate license and that has been over 25 years ago.

Irene had been working as a REALTOR® almost five years when Jeff Sposito approached her about working for him to review his broker files. Since then, Irene’s position has evolved over the years with Jeff into her current position as Risk Analysis Manager for J. Rockcliff Realtors. Today, Irene works with the agents and managers to solve problems as they arise prior to close of escrow. She also works closely with the Director of Risk Management and the company attorney when disputes arise.

In addition, Irene works with the training department teaching new and seasoned agents the details of listing and purchase contracts on an ongoing basis.
